mpjh

we've got great news, and no, i am not pregnant. pete got the official word yesterday that he will be transferred to mpjh (sorry, you'll have to figure it out; i don't want to post the name of his employer on this blog. but for those of you who know where we live, then know that he will be working only .7 miles east of our house) to be the learning center instructor. we are so excited about this change; he will be PERFECT for those kids. i am so proud of him for how he has excelled so quickly as a teacher; his natural ability hasn't gone unnoticed in the district either. i also love that he will be so close to home, home for lunch, and home after school without a 40 minute commute. my sister jokingly said that after this change i might have more of pete than i could possibly want. is that really possible!? i just can't wait for every second!!

Oh that is FANTASTIC news. And such a great school. I went to mpjh so I am super excited about him teaching there! I love the school and have such great memories of my teachers. I am so happy for you! I would LOVE having Brick come home for lunch and to cut his commute. Congrats to you both!

Hey I found your blog from Heidi's. Congratulations to you and to Pete, it will be nice to have him close and not spending time driving home to you and your cute little boys.

Good job Pete! I bet you'll love the extra time with him! Closer is always better when it comes to jobs. Commutes are NEVER a good thing!

Thanks for the support, the next year will be interesting and challenging. I look forward to meeting my students and working close to home. Jen is a really proud wife I love my job, but I am at the beginning of a new career and I still have a lot to learn about teaching. Have I ever told you that she is the worlds greatest hairstylist, mother, homemaker. She has the experience and from my perspective is upstaged by no one :) she deserves the congratulations a lot more than I do!

AWESOME!!! Now you won't have to consider moving anymore (and I won't have to kill you for possibly doing so). Congrats to Pete and how wonderful for you and the boys. Beyond thrilled for you!
