calling in a sick day

i'm sick today.
i thought about calling in sick.
but then i wondered who i would call.
ever heard of a mother substitute list?
i haven't.
so instead...
we didn't load the dishwasher after breakfast or lunch,
didn't make our beds,
ate lots of junk & milkshakes,
watched too much tv,
and i even yelled at the kids some.
i'm hoping to not be sick tomorrow.
being sick is never fun,
and it is especially not fun when you are a mother.
