that's what i say to myself when i go to bed with a kitchen that looks like this after the nighttime clean up job.
i'm slowly learning it's not me, it's not the children, it's just life.
and it's pretty wonderful.
(and oftentimes messy.)

If your house was always clean and neat, it would appear that you never used it. I remember my neighbor telling me,(after I apologized on how messy the house was)."It does not look messy, it looks lived in". I still use that for an excuse, after many years. :) Enjoy the look, be it messy, or lived in.
