Thanks Sam

Sam has been really concerned about his Dad. He wanted to go and buy Pete a remote control car so they went this morning and got one. He also thought it would be a good idea to buy him a light saber. He chose green because his Dad is "one of the good guys". He also wanted him and his Dad to wear their Superman shirts today. Thanks Sam, now I think your Dad has everything he needs to be the best fighter he can be. :)

We love you, Pete, and your family. We pray and hope that this isn't the end for Pete. He's way too young and it would be an incredible loss for you and your boys. Poor Jane can't do this again. History can't repeat itself. We are all behind you and hope this is one hard thing you don't have to do. Jo Mason

i always thought pete could pull off the clark kent/superman transition. and i am SURE he would love to wear the tights. ;)
tights or not, he is a hero to his wife & little men and is really touching a lot of us right now and teaching us a whole lot.

hang in pete. warm up. wake up. give those nurses a run for their money with your silliness.
haven't stopped thinking about you both all day. much love.

What a sweet thing. I read a post on Pete's blog about him asking if Jesus had a light saber. My prayers are with your family. What a beautiful family.

I went to school with Peter ages ago. It is amazing how and when past friends come back into your life. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Just wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers as well. Pete has always been a fighter, if anyone can do this it would be him. Thank you for keeping us in the loop. I love the lightsaber and I'm sure Pete does too, smart kids! Love you Pete! Dave & Emmy Gourley

Sam,
Way to be your dad's hero, buddy. You knew just what he needed. That's the best superpower anyone can have!
