Dearest Jen and Pete, I was absolutely stunned when Ryan called me told me about Pete. What a testimony builder, to see that miracles continue in our day..nothing else matters in this life but our relationships with family and friends treating people in a Christlike way. Remember the Savior suffered not only for our sins but for the hardships, for our hurt, our disappointments. Think of all the people He healed, he knew their emotions, their sadness, their lack, let Him help you carry the burdens that this trial will bring..you will be amazed..and strengthened, you will be able to do things you thought you couldn't. Love you guys, I am here, whatever I can do to help..Love Cathy Wilson
No way! I dont believe it!!

Hi, Pete may not remember me. I taught with him at Syracuse last year. My name is Abigail Bolton I have been following the blog closely and praying for him. I have felt a special connection to your family because my family suffered a similar scary incident several years ago. I was the one laying where Pete is. When I was 17 I suffered cardiac arrest (totally unexpectedly). I have been hopeful that Pete would be as fortunate as I was and return to 100% (I also suffered some short term memory loss and confusion). I am commenting to let you know that I have been thinking of your family and that when I heard that Pete was getting a pacemaker defibrillator I was excited for him. Sounds crazy I know, but I have the same device implanted and it gives me a lot of peace of mind. I know that I won't suffer another unexpected heart failure now and my life is incredibly normal. I wanted Pete to know that life with a pacemaker is as normal as can be. I am actually far more active now than I was before I had mine implanted. If you have any questions about life with the device I would be happy to share my experience. I am so happy to hear the wonderful news that the many prayers have been answered. I will continue to pray that his recovery will be smooth. Best wishes, Pete is a great guy, his students love and admire him!
WOW!! I love it. Keep it up! May the Lord continue to bless you. Merry Christmas!!
That has got to be the best Christmas present in the whole wide world. We're so happy to hear the good news and look forward to hearing more!
God's mercies are tender and personal in ways we never fully understand. Please keep us posted. The veil between here and heaven much be incredibly thin at your house right now. Soak in the spirit of a living God. I can feel it just reading this.
I just got the chills all over...that is the most AMAZING and INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL news. Can't wait to hear it all!!!
We are thrilled our prayers have been answered! Thanks for keeping us up to date on your blog. Heavenly Father must love you guys.
Wow! What a testimony builder this experience is for the Chilren/adults of the ward and beyond! From several parents I have heard that their children have been praying with all of their hearts for his recovery. I tell ya, the sweet little children have the ear of the Lord! Oh, I am so happy for him and you. HOORAY! HOOORAY! and a big sigh of relief.
