i couldn't find my cell phone today.

by tonight i gave up the search and called it.

i was surprised by where i found it.

in an empty paint can.

hmm.

i've still been wondering why it was in there,

and thinking about how long it would've taken me to find it there.

i'm afraid it never would've crossed my mind to look there.
