our friday project last week was making this egg tree. super cute, super fun, and super easy (well, kind of). sam loved working on it with me, and will loved napping while we worked on it. if you are looking for a fun friday project for easter, then try this.
supplies needed...
raw eggs
egg dye (1/4 tsp food coloring, 1/4 cup hot water, 2 tbsp. vinegar)
string or ribbon for hanging eggs
tree branch
vase with rocks
embellishments for eggs if desired
what to do...
1. poke a hole in the top and bottom of egg with a straight pen. put your mouth on one end of the egg and blow the yolk out. be sure you make the hole big enough or it will extremely difficult. i saved all the yolks and made french toast the next day. :)
2. dye the eggs the desired color.
3. hot glue the ribbon or string to the stop of the egg
4. stabilize the branch in the vase of rocks and hang eggs from the branches as desired.
have fun and happy easter!
